Interview conducted by Jim M. Dandy as part of the LDS Native American Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 10 April 1991. Halona talks about her early life in Phoenix, Arizona. She tells about her parents and her experiences as a Mormon on the Mormon Church Indian Placement Program. She also discusses her experiences as a student at Brigham Young University and her relationships with white Mormons. Halona also presents her feelings relating to the excommunication of George P. Lee, the Indian general authority in the Mormon Church.

Plans for the David O.
